Many of you who already followed our post on how to enable free SSL on your website will know that we are using “WP encrypt” plugin to renew our Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates in every 90 days.
But after 90 days when it was time for renewal the plugin didn’t work as expected. And we got the below error even when we tried to regenerate the certificate manually.

HTTPS is now becoming a necessity and google is giving more importance to https site in comparison to http sites in indexing.
So how do you get an https secure site?
You need to buy an SSL certificate from third party. Even though you know your site is secure it needs verification from a third party which says “Yeah I confirm this site is secure”. For this the third party charges a fees anywhere from $10 to $150 per year .

If you have Windows 7 download Docker Toolbox for Windows with Virtualbox.
Once you’ve installed Docker Toolbox, install a VM with Docker Machine using the VirtualBox provider:
docker-machine create --driver=virtualbox default
eval "$(docker-machine env default)"
